The Del Mar Line by Creative Pipe, Inc. combines the beauty, simplicity and strength of steel with the corrosion, scratch, and graffiti resistance of marine grade polymers.

Long used in the marine industry, the polymers featured in our Del Mar line are excellent for outdoor furniture applications where durability, corrosion defiance, graffiti resistance and engraving capabilities all play an important role. In addition, the Del Mar line is also ideal for custom shaped or engraved site furnishings.

The marine grade polymer material used in our Del Mar line are:

1. Environmentally stabilized for harsh sun and marine environments.

2. Corrosion-free and will not rust like metal; swell, rot and absorb water like wood; or delaminate and oxidize like fiberglass.

3. Virtually graffiti-proof as markers, paints and glues will not adhere to its surface and can be easily wiped clean.

4. Highly chemical resistant and will not fade, discolor, splinter, or crack like fiberglass or wood.

5. Highly scratch resistant as scratches can be buffed out of the polymer without harming its surface.

6. Available in multi-color layers that are guaranteed not to delaminate and are ideal for making signage and for engraving corporate logos, city seals or other graphic designs (our state-of-the-art facility has the capability to engrave even the most intricate designs, characters, logos, etc.). Unlike silk screening and surface painting often used on other mediums such as metal, fiberglass, wood and concrete, our engravings cannot be scraped off and will last for years without fading or discoloring.

The steel bases and reinforcements used in conjunction with the polymer surfaces for the Del Marä line are also made to the most stringent specifications. They are fabricated from mild steel with one of the following finishes: hot-dipped galvanized (standard and recommended); polyester powder coated (many colors are available); or thermoplastic powder coated (optional). Optional stainless steel with a #4 satin finish is also available. Designate "-G", "-P", "-T", or "-SS" for galvanized, powder coated, thermoplastic coated, or stainless steel respectively after the model number. Mounting options are as follows: freestanding; permanent embedded; or permanent surface mounting. Designate "-F", "-E", or "-SM" for a freestanding, permanent embedded, or permanent surface mounting respectively after the finish option.

Multi-colored layered polymer is also available for permanently engraving graphics, logos, or other identifying markings into the seating surfaces.
