| Our vinyl plastisol coated site products are in quality and durability. To ensure the highest possible quality of our plastisol coated site products, we coat the products in the following manner:
1. The metal is sandblasted to achieve a profile to allow greater adhesion of the pure zinc primer coat.
2. The metal is then immersed in a 100% pure zinc bath resulting in a uniform and smooth, rust and corrosion inhibiting, pure zinc galvanized primer and sealer coat.
3. Next a special adhesive is applied to the zinc galvanized parts which maximizes adhesion between the the zinc layer and the vinyl plastisol topcoat.
4. Finally the metal is dipped into the vinyl plastisol solution.
This four step process is not the least expensive way to vinyl plastisol coat our site furniture but it does provide corrosion and rust protection and also prevents the vinyl plastisol from being peeled off by external sources (e.g. knives, screwdrivers and other tools of the vandal’s trade). |
